Looking at Genesis 28:10–19, we follow Jacob as he stops for the night during his journey and experiences a life-changing encounter with God. Through a dream of a ladder reaching from earth to heaven, God reminds Jacob that His presence and promises remain with him.
This study helps us understand that no place is too ordinary for God to reveal Himself. Just like Jacob, we can discover that Jehovah Shammah — the Lord is there — even when we didn’t realize it.
